Senior AI Technical Trainer (Generative AI)

About the role

OpenAI is assembling a specialist team of Senior AI Technical Trainers in Singapore to help leading organisations adopt generative AI. As a senior, customer‑facing trainer you will run instructor‑led bootcamps, workshops and hands‑on labs, enabling engineers, developers, solution architects and business leaders to build confidently with OpenAI’s technology.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver instructor‑led bootcamps, technical workshops and hands‑on lab sessions for enterprise and partner organisations.
• Facilitate training for diverse audiences, including engineers, developers, solution architects, technical consultants, sales teams and business stakeholders.
• Lead practical implementation exercises, troubleshoot participant issues live, and translate complex AI concepts into business‑relevant use cases.
• Represent OpenAI professionally with enterprise and strategic partners, ensuring consistent, high‑quality delivery across the market.
• Support scalable training deployment models while preserving instructional quality.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with proven experience delivering technical training or enablement programmes.
• Strong technical fluency enabling you to guide developer‑focused labs and explain concepts to mixed technical and business audiences.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage both technical and non‑technical participants.

Required skills

• Generative AI platforms and ecosystems
• Large language models (LLMs) and foundation model concepts
• Prompt engineering techniques
• Retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) concepts
• AI agents and agentic workflows
• API integration and developer workflows
• Reading and lightly modifying sample code in Python or JavaScript
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
