Senior Cyber Security Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Consultant to act as the enterprise technical focal point for cyber incidents, collaborating with SOC, CISO, infrastructure, network, cloud, application and vendor teams. The role involves leading incident response, proactive threat hunting and strengthening our security monitoring across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cyber incident response activities including triage, investigation, containment coordination, evidence gathering and remediation tracking.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting using telemetry from SIEM, EDR, NDR, vulnerability management and asset discovery tools.
• Develop detection use cases, investigation playbooks, response procedures and escalation workflows.
• Identify gaps in logging, telemetry and detection coverage and work with SOC to improve alert quality.
• Support vulnerability management by correlating findings with asset criticality and threat intelligence.
• Assist with enterprise security initiatives such as micro‑segmentation, Zero Trust controls and IAM/PIAM adoption.
• Participate in security assessments, tabletop exercises, incident simulations and post‑incident reviews.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards and security posture metrics.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in enterprise cyber security, incident response and threat hunting.
• Strong understanding of security monitoring, detection engineering and vulnerability management.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with infrastructure, network, cloud and application teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
