Senior Engineer – MRT/LTA

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer with proven MRT/LTA project experience to join a leading contractor delivering complex transportation and civil infrastructure across Singapore. The role will involve leading design activities, ensuring compliance with MRT/LTA standards, and contributing to sustainable urban development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and review engineering design deliverables in line with MRT/LTA standards, contract requirements and project specifications.
• Prepare and manage design schedules, aligning them with construction timelines.
• Oversee design development from conceptual to detailed stages and ensure compliance with local authority regulations.
• Manage and coordinate submissions to MRT/LTA and other authorities for approval.
• Conduct design reviews, risk assessments and value‑engineering exercises.
• Liaise with project managers, consultants, contractors and authorities to resolve design issues.
• Support tender and procurement processes, including technical evaluations.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and design coordinators.
• Maintain documentation control, drawing management and revision tracking.
• Provide technical support during construction, including site inspections and design clarifications.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in civil infrastructure projects.
• Mandatory experience in MRT/LTA projects (roads, tunnels, bridges, drainage, utilities).
• Main contractor experience required.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore codes and submission procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
