Senior Engineer / Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer / Project Manager to lead multiple site testing and structural investigation projects from award to completion. The role combines technical expertise in civil and structural engineering with strong project management capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise manpower, equipment and testing schedules to meet project milestones.
• Lead Site Engineers, Supervisors and Technicians, ensuring efficient daily operations.
• Act as primary liaison with clients, consultants, contractors and regulatory authorities.
• Prepare technical proposals, methodologies, work plans and cost estimates for structural investigation and specialised testing projects.
• Review tender documents, construction drawings and specifications to develop sound investigation approaches.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, accreditation requirements and industry standards.
• Review and approve testing reports and technical findings before client submission.
• Manage project costs, resource utilisation and profitability.
• Support business development by nurturing client relationships and identifying new opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Construction or Materials Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in construction materials testing, structural investigation, forensic engineering or civil infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record preparing technical proposals, investigation methodologies and tender submissions.
• Strong understanding of structural investigation techniques and industry standards.
