Senior Executive, Human Resources (Payroll)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Executive in Human Resources to lead our payroll function and manage employee insurance programmes. You will ensure accurate, timely salary processing and compliance with statutory requirements while supporting the broader HR team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and on‑time payments.
• Administer statutory payroll requirements, including contributions, government‑paid leave claims and regulatory submissions.
• Handle annual employee income tax reporting, tax clearance and related compliance matters.
• Prepare payroll reports and analyses for management, financial reconciliation and audit purposes.
• Maintain payroll records in line with internal controls, company policies and audit standards.
• Update employee payroll and HR information in the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Oversee employee insurance programmes, including enrolment, policy updates, renewals and terminations.
• Coordinate insurance claims and liaise with employees, insurers and brokers.
• Review and improve payroll and insurance workflows for efficiency and compliance.
• Provide guidance on payroll and insurance enquiries to employees and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma or higher in Human Resources or a related field.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Employment Act, HR regulations and payroll practices.
• Detail‑oriented, problem‑solver with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
