Senior Financial Analyst – Business Partnering & Controlling

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to act as a Finance Business Partner for our industrial operations in Singapore. Reporting directly to global leadership, you will translate complex financial data into actionable insights that drive decision‑making, cost efficiency and forecast accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the annual budget, quarterly outlooks and monthly forecasting cycles for global industrial operations.
• Perform detailed variance and trend analysis, ensuring data integrity through hands‑on validation.
• Evaluate business spend and capital expenditure using actual versus standard cost analyses across product lines.
• Lead cost‑optimization initiatives by delivering deep‑dive analytics on productivity and key cost drivers.
• Support month‑end closing procedures and facilitate grant audits.
• Champion process improvements leveraging SAP, Anaplan, Power BI and AI tools to enhance financial modeling and automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related discipline.
• Relevant experience in financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Strong grasp of corporate finance principles and ability to translate large datasets into strategic decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven track record of collaboration in global, matrixed organisations.
• Prior exposure to complex, fast‑paced industrial or high‑mix equipment environments is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP (ECC or S/4HANA).
• Experience using Power BI, Anaplan or similar business intelligence and forecasting tools.
