Senior Global Retail Training & Development Manager

About the role

The Senior Global Retail Training & Development Manager will shape Dyson’s retail evolution by defining a worldwide training strategy that goes beyond product knowledge to true client engagement. The role will embed a service‑led mindset, strengthen selling skills at Expert and Stylist level, and build coaching capability for Store Leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Own the global strategy for Retail Capability and Customer Experience, translating business priorities into measurable commercial outcomes.
• Influence market leadership teams to adopt global standards while respecting local requirements.
• Set and evolve the global retail training strategy, creating scalable learning for Experts, Stylists and Store Leaders.
• Define competency frameworks, learning journeys and train‑the‑trainer toolkits that accelerate induction and career development.
• Partner with Commercial, Product and Creative teams to ensure new‑product launch training meets Dyson’s brand and experience standards.

Required profile

• At least eight years of experience in retail operations, learning and development, or retail capability roles within a large, multi‑market organisation.
• Proven ability to set strategy, translate it into scalable programmes and deliver measurable business and customer outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with credibility to advise senior leaders across diverse markets.
• Demonstrated experience designing and facilitating soft‑skills and behavioural development programmes for frontline teams.
• Commercially minded and data‑led, able to use customer, learning and performance insights to prioritise investment and evaluate impact.
