Senior GST Manager – Tax Advisory

About the role

This senior position leads GST advisory and compliance services for a diverse portfolio of corporate and individual clients. The role is pivotal in enhancing client experience, driving team performance, and supporting the growth of the tax practice.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on GST implications across various industries, including the financial sector.
• Assist with GST registration, exemption applications, and implementation of GST schemes.
• Review and e‑file clients’ GST returns.
• Conduct GST health checks, due‑diligence reviews, Assisted Self Help Kit (ASK) reviews, and Assisted Compliance Assurance Programme (ACAP) reviews.
• Support clients during IRAS GST audits and investigations.
• Facilitate GST rulings requests with IRAS.
• Collaborate with partners to develop the GST practice and handle ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related field; professional qualification recognised by SCTP preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of Singapore GST experience, preferably in a professional services or accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore tax laws and GST guidelines.
• Proven leadership, client and project management abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills; bilingual capability.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and deliver on time.
• Motivated for career growth; SCTP accreditation (ATP or ATA GST) is an advantage.
