Senior Key Account Manager

About the role

This position is the dedicated sales force responsible for driving growth and development of ADM’s Flavor business with key accounts across South East Asia. The role focuses on building strategic relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering solutions that meet customer objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sales activities for the Flavor business and drive strategic growth with key accounts.
• Identify and pursue competitive sales opportunities using internal capabilities, technical resources, and partner networks.
• Manage high‑potential projects and oversee the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to deal closure.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understand their needs, and align solutions to business objectives.
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and up‑to‑date sales forecasts.
• Manage account receivables and ensure overdue payments stay within acceptable limits.
• Collaborate with colleagues across business units to ensure process alignment, compliance, and administrative requirements.
• Support the sales function with additional tasks assigned by the company or line manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience developing key accounts in the food flavor or specialty ingredients sector, with a proven record of sales growth.
• Strategic thinker, self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Experience managing global key accounts is an advantage.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
