Senior / Lead Civil Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior / Lead Civil Engineer to join Aurecon’s Infrastructure business. You will work with a team of specialists to deliver civil engineering solutions for roads, drainage, sewerage, utilities and other infrastructure projects worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive consultancy services for civil engineering works, including design and construction of roads, drainage, sewerage, and utilities.
• Prepare, consolidate and review technical reports and studies for internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve design and construction challenges, ensuring compliance with project design criteria, client briefs and relevant standards.
• Maintain adherence to local regulations and codes such as Euro Design Codes, Singapore Standards, LTA, BCA, PUB, URA, and NParks.
• Collaborate across geographies and markets, applying expertise to diverse infrastructure projects.

Required profile

• Recognised civil engineering qualification (Bachelor or Master’s degree).
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in civil works design, including roads, drainage, sewerage and utilities (8‑10 years may be considered for senior role).
• Strong understanding of civil regulations, standards and statutory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high‑quality technical documentation and presentations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital design tools such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.
• Technical writing and presentation skills.
