Senior Manager – Group Tax

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead Group Tax functions across SATS’s global operations. Reporting to the Group Head of Tax, you will oversee tax risk management, compliance and strategic tax planning for the company’s extensive air‑cargo, ground handling and food‑service businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Group Head of Tax in managing global tax risk and implementing the Tax Risk and Governance Framework across subsidiaries.
• Develop and maintain processes to meet evolving tax regulations, including country‑by‑country reporting and BEPS 2.0 requirements.
• Review and enhance tax automation solutions to ensure accurate data capture for reporting.
• Analyse budget announcements, summarise impacts and communicate findings to senior management and business units.
• Provide tax advisory, planning and structuring support, including transfer‑pricing analysis, documentation and training.
• Lead tax considerations for M&A projects, financing, repatriation and other commercial initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all direct and indirect taxes (GST/VAT, duties, withholding tax, etc.) through daily transaction checks and governance controls.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate tax, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of international tax standards, BEPS 2.0 and country‑by‑country reporting.
• Proven ability to manage tax risk, develop frameworks and drive process improvements.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Relevant professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CA, CTA) is desirable.
