Senior M&E Manager – Main Contractor

About the role

Our client, a leading main contractor in Singapore, is seeking a Senior Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Manager to lead M&E services across building and infrastructure projects. The role involves overseeing feasibility studies, design, budgeting, procurement and quality assurance while driving value‑engineering initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead M&E proposals covering feasibility, design, budgeting, procurement and QA.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, consultants and contractors to review designs and value‑engineering options.
• Support sourcing, tender evaluation and appointment of consultants and contractors.
• Review M&E designs, shop drawings and proposals for compliance, functionality and operational efficiency.
• Drive value‑engineering initiatives to improve project outcomes and profitability.
• Manage project delivery, budgets, defect resolution and long‑term asset replacement planning.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering or related field.
• Solid experience in MEP construction planning, equipment installation and project execution.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction technologies and quality/safety standards.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders and coordinate with consultants/contractors.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and documentation skills with commercial awareness.
