Senior Plating Engineer – West Area

About the role

The Senior Plating Engineer will lead the West area production line, overseeing scheduling, process optimisation and quality assurance for electro‑plating operations. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to eliminate failures and improve product functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee production scheduling and define process parameters.
• Identify and eliminate sources of failure to perfect product functionality.
• Analyse throughput and quality issues, implement stabilisation solutions and drive cost improvements.
• Investigate material‑related problems and develop corrective actions.
• Maintain job methods, work instructions, drawings and bills of material.
• Execute productivity programmes such as process automation, tooling and fixture fabrication.
• Conduct training on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives on quality, yields and technology.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the electro‑plating sector; exposure to Silver Spot plating is a plus.
