Senior Product Manager – Supply Chain

About the role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the supply‑chain strategy for critical semiconductor components that enable new data‑center hardware launches. The role ensures component readiness aligns with product timelines, mitigates supply risks, and supports scalable, resilient component selection.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with hardware engineering teams to align component readiness with product development timelines and drive mitigation plans.
• Engage early in the design phase to influence component selection based on supply resilience, scalability, and qualification timelines.
• Analyze bill of materials (BOM) to identify single‑source, capacity, and end‑of‑life risks, and lead cross‑functional mitigation efforts.
• Identify high‑risk components and develop alternative sourcing strategies, coordinating early qualification with engineering and quality teams.
• Provide clear visibility into component‑level risks, report status to stakeholders, and manage escalations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10+ years of experience in the electronics industry within supply chain, operations, manufacturing, or engineering.
• Proven experience analyzing component‑level risks or BOMs.
• Strong knowledge of the semiconductor industry, processes, technologies, and key suppliers.
