Senior Project Executive – Quantity Surveyor

About the role

The Senior Project Executive (Quantity Surveyor) will lead cost management activities across construction, maintenance and estate upgrading projects. You will be responsible for preparing estimates, managing variations, and ensuring accurate final accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and review schedule of rates to develop star rates.
• Compile six‑monthly cost information and conduct site studies and condition surveys.
• Verify progress payments, final accounts and evaluate contractor final claims, including variations and VOs.
• Prepare variation orders by taking off quantities and performing site measurements.
• Prepare, call and secure tenders for term contracts and QS consultancy services.
• Undertake other duties or special assignments as required.

Required profile

• Relevant Diploma in Building, Quantity Surveying, Project & Facilities Management or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of QS experience in construction, maintenance, A&A or estate upgrading projects.
• Candidates with over 8 years of experience and proven leadership may be considered for a senior QS manager role.
• Experience in public‑sector or town‑council projects is an advantage.
