Senior Quantity Surveyor – Construction Projects

About the role

EDZ Interior Contracts is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management and contract administration for its interior fit‑out projects on Jurong Island. Reporting to the Head of Quantity Surveying, you will oversee the full tendering cycle, cost control, and claim certification while ensuring competitive pricing and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and manage the tendering process, obtain and compare quotations from suppliers, contractors and sub‑contractors.
• Prepare project costing sheets, budgetary estimates and value‑engineering proposals.
• Verify and certify claims from vendors and contractors; prepare progressive and final claims for clients and consultants.
• Negotiate and finalise sub‑contractor and supplier agreements, migrating risk to project performance.
• Coordinate procurement lists with project managers, source materials and ensure timely delivery.
• Attend site and progress meetings, provide regular budget and cost updates.
• Prepare and submit weekly project cost, claim status reports and ensure all tender documents are submitted on schedule.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in quantity surveying within the construction or interior fit‑out sector.
• Proven ability to manage project budgets, conduct cost estimations and handle contract negotiations.
• Strong understanding of tendering procedures, claim certification and procurement processes.

• Competitive salary range SGD 4,000 – 5,000 per month.
