Senior Quantity Surveyor (CSA/MEP)

About the role

JLL's Project & Development Services is hiring a Senior Quantity Surveyor (CSA/MEP) on site in Singapore. The role covers cost planning, tender support, contract administration and cost advice for clients across all project stages, from feasibility to final account.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cost plans, including taking off quantities and pricing
• Discuss changes and adjustments to cost plans with engineers, architects, designers and owners
• Advise clients on procurement strategies
• Support pre-qualification and contractor evaluation
• Help prepare tender documents such as Bills of Quantities, Schedules of Works and Schedules of Rates, and manage the tender process
• Compare tender returns and support clients in negotiating pricing with contractors and subcontractors
• Evaluate and administer contracts on behalf of clients, including valuations, variations and final accounts
• Certify final payment claims and prepare cost reports for client sign-off
• Provide cost advisory support from feasibility through to final account
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, design consultants and contractors, and handle tight deadlines and high expectations

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in a relevant field (QS/Engineering), and/or up to five years' experience (CM/QS) or up to eight years' experience (SQS) in a similar QS/cost consultancy position
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Experience in both the pre-construction and construction phases of projects
