Senior Quantity Surveyor – M&E (Civil Construction)

About the role

Our client, a leading civil contractor in Singapore, is expanding its local team and seeks an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to manage the full spectrum of quantity surveying activities for mechanical and electrical works.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage tender documents, pre‑contract and post‑contract activities for M&E disciplines.
• Conduct quantity take‑offs, prepare bills of quantities and select suitable subcontractors.
• Administer contracts and sub‑contracts, including progress claims, variation orders and verification of subcontractor and supplier claims.
• Review contracts, ensure compliance with technical and legal requirements, and support cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor, preferably in a QS consultancy environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of measurement, cost estimation, construction technology, contracts and legal aspects.
• Ability to work independently on QS functions while demonstrating strong teamwork.
