Senior Sales Director, Asia

About the role

The Senior Sales Director, Asia will drive incremental new‑business growth and expand Opera’s commercial footprint across Asia, focusing on high‑growth sectors such as iGaming, Crypto and FinTech. The role combines hands‑on direct sales with regional sales enablement and ecosystem development, reporting to the EVP of Commerce.

Key responsibilities

• Drive net‑new business growth across Asia, focusing on iGaming, Crypto and FinTech.
• Build and own a high‑quality new‑business pipeline, taking opportunities from prospecting through negotiation and close.
• Develop senior‑level relationships with prospective customers, strategic partners and ecosystem players.
• Partner with regional and global leadership on sales enablement and commercial execution, strengthening sales practices and supporting the Singapore commercial hub.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Technology and other internal teams to translate market insights into commercial opportunities.

Required profile

• Significant senior commercial, sales or business development experience across Asia with a proven track record of originating and closing net‑new business.
• Established network and deep understanding of the Asian digital ecosystem, especially in iGaming, Crypto, FinTech or related high‑growth sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to manage the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting to complex negotiations and close.
• Strong relationship‑building and influencing skills with senior executives, customers, partners and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Strategic, entrepreneurial mindset combined with a hands‑on approach, capable of operating independently and identifying new commercial opportunities.
