Senior Sales Engineer – Cybersecurity

About the role

Horizon3 is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to help prospects and clients understand the value of its NodeZero™ autonomous penetration‑testing platform. You will act as the technical bridge between the sales team and customers, showcasing how Horizon3’s solutions address modern cyber‑threat challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate deep knowledge of Horizon3’s cybersecurity products and services during sales engagements.
• Engage with potential customers to assess their security needs, infrastructure, and risk profile.
• Deliver live product demonstrations and proof‑of‑concepts tailored to each prospect.
• Collaborate with sales and product teams to design and refine solutions based on customer feedback.
• Train the sales organization on technical aspects of the platform to improve selling effectiveness.
• Provide technical input for RFP/RFI responses and relay field feedback to engineering.
• Occasionally support post‑sales implementation to ensure smooth customer onboarding.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience as a Pre‑Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect, preferably within the cybersecurity domain.
• Strong understanding of cyber threats, risk management, and security best practices.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of cybersecurity solutions and autonomous penetration‑testing concepts.
• Experience delivering technical demos and proof‑of‑concepts to enterprise customers.
• Ability to translate complex security requirements into practical solution designs.
