About the role
Tan Tock Seng Hospital is hiring a Senior Staff Nurse acting as Clinical Instructor. The role supports nursing students by supervising their clinical practice and teaching them to turn theoretical knowledge into patient-centred care.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct clinical supervision and teaching so nursing students can bridge the gap between theory and patient-centred care.
- Plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate clinical training of nursing students in the assigned clinical areas.
- Assess, review and promote patient care standards in the clinical setting, and give feedback to the relevant parties.
- Appraise and use evidence-based practices related to the field of supervision.
Required profile
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing; a postgraduate qualification in education or its equivalent is preferred.
- State registered nurse.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in nursing education.
- Good communication skills and the ability to engage and work well with different stakeholders.
