Service Sustainability Engineer (HVAC)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Service Sustainability Engineer to lead the coordination of HVAC refrigeration system maintenance, support data‑analytics automation, and drive energy‑conservation initiatives. The role blends technical expertise with contractor management to ensure reliable operation of chillers, compressors, cooling towers and related equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with maintenance contractors, validate checklists and obtain required customer sign‑offs.
• Assist the data‑analytics team in automating data collection, analysis and reporting, and perform root‑cause analysis of system faults.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive energy‑conservation action plan with short‑ and long‑term goals.
• Prepare operational and maintenance schedules, perform remote monitoring, and respond to emergencies.
• Collaborate with customer support to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
• Gather onsite operating parameters, validate data via SCADA systems, and support programming and control tasks.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery according to schedule.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC, refrigeration or related engineering roles.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent coordination and communication abilities for contractor and team collaboration.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.

Required skills

• Refrigeration systems knowledge (chillers, compressors, cooling towers, FCUs, cold rooms, ETV doors).
• SCADA system operation and data validation.
• Data analytics and automation processes.
• Root‑cause analysis of system faults.
• Energy‑conservation planning and strategy development.
