Service Technician – Automatic Door Systems

About the role

We are looking for a Service Technician to install, maintain and upgrade automatic door systems for our clients. The role involves on‑site troubleshooting, testing, commissioning and providing technical recommendations to ensure safe and reliable operation of entrance equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and perform retrofits and repairs on mechanical, electrical and electronic components of automatic doors.
• Conduct site inspections, diagnose faults, and propose part replacements or upgrades.
• Prepare detailed site reports for clients, covering work completed, testing results and commissioning status.
• Carry out de‑commissioning activities and risk assessments for all entrance‑related systems.
• Recommend and implement upgrades or feasible solutions for existing door installations.
• Maintain the assigned service vehicle in road‑worthy condition and ensure its cleanliness.
• Stay up‑to‑date with product information and technical knowledge of ASSA ABLOY and competing door systems.
• Keep tools and equipment in good working order, replacing items as needed.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Proven experience servicing automatic door or similar entrance systems.
• Ability to conduct thorough site checks, produce clear reports and perform risk assessments.
• Strong attention to safety standards and product compliance.
• Good organisational skills for managing service schedules and vehicle upkeep.
