Site Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Site Engineer to oversee all phases of construction projects, from site preparation through build‑out. The role involves close coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and authorities to ensure smooth execution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the construction site, supervising preparations, build‑out and daily operations.
• Liaise with project stakeholders including clients, consultants, RTO, subcontractors, suppliers and regulatory bodies.
• Assist with quantity take‑offs for materials such as rebar, steel members, concrete, tiles and furniture.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with approved plans and drawings.
• Prepare shop drawings, as‑built drawings and obtain consultant approvals.
• Draft and submit RFIs/RFAs, document action items and follow‑up from meetings.
• Prepare progress claims, capture progress photos and review subcontractor claims.
• Submit variation orders to the QS/client and support construction scheduling.
• Ensure adherence to time, cost, quality, regulatory and legislative requirements.

Required profile

• Strong technical background with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective interpersonal skills for coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain documentation accuracy.
