Site Installation Engineer (Rail Signalling)

About the role

The Site Installation Engineer will plan, direct and coordinate on‑site signalling system installation activities, working closely with internal teams, subcontractors and customers. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule on‑site design and implementation for signalling systems.
• Coordinate with engineering, civil, subcontractors and customers to align project objectives.
• Provide regular progress updates to the Construction/Installation Manager.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, installation procedures, method statements and safety regulations.
• Conduct toolbox meetings, site progress meetings and quality inspections.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, resolve drawing discrepancies and technical issues.
• Manage site manpower, material and equipment requirements to meet schedule milestones.
• Prepare recovery plans for any activity delays.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent education, or 1‑3 years of related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Willingness to travel overseas on an ad‑hoc basis.
