Software Engineer (Developer Platform)

About the role

CSIT is looking for a Software Engineer to join its Developer Platform team. You will help build and maintain the tools, services, and automation that enable product engineers to develop and deliver software quickly and securely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features and automation for the developer platform, including cloud services and APIs.
• Collaborate with engineers across the full software stack to improve delivery performance.
• Work with other platform and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration within the private cloud.
• Write clean, maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
• Proactively enhance platform availability, performance, efficiency, monitoring, and emergency response.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of software development experience using general‑purpose languages such as Python or Java.
• Singapore citizenship (CSIT is an agency under the Ministry of Defence).
