Software Engineer II – Business Mobile App (Google Pay)

About the role

Google Pay is looking for a Software Engineer II to help empower small and medium businesses through innovative mobile payment tools. You will work on the Business Mobile App, building intuitive features that simplify payments for merchants.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve mobile software, from user‑facing applications to server‑side APIs.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers and other engineers to define and implement features.
• Write high‑quality, well‑tested, maintainable code in Flutter.
• Advocate product excellence and ensure robust testing practices for mobile applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 1 year of software development experience in languages such as Python, C, C++, Java or JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Passion for user‑facing features and product excellence.
