Software Engineer – Information Division

About the role

Join DSO National Laboratories' Information Division as a Software Engineer, where you will design and operate high‑performance computing clusters that support Singapore's defence capabilities across air, land, sea, space and cyberspace.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, optimise, deploy and maintain advanced computing clusters for high‑throughput workloads.
• Collaborate with data engineers to build robust ETL pipelines for seamless data integration.
• Lead the full‑stack development lifecycle from requirements gathering to testing, deployment and continuous improvement.
• Design scalable, resilient, safe and secure software architectures and provide engineering expertise to research projects.
• Implement DevOps/DevSecOps pipelines, test environments and simulators for verification and validation of algorithms.
• Work closely with research scientists to translate cutting‑edge algorithms into production‑ready solutions and conduct integration tests in lab and field settings.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software architecture, full‑stack development, or related engineering roles.

Required skills

• Software architecture and design for high‑performance clusters.
