Job description
About the role
Thomson Reuters is hiring a Solutions Consultant (Corporates) in Singapore. The consultant acts as a trusted advisor to Tax, Finance and Finance Technology teams of multinational customers, helping them modernize compliance as e-invoicing spreads, Pillar Two moves to reporting, and automation and AI become more important. The role works with regional sales teams from first contact to closing the deal, using tools such as ONESOURCE, Pagero e-invoicing and related solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Engage and discover customer needs with Tax and Finance stakeholders, map the current technology landscape and build business cases linking product to outcomes such as reduced compliance risk and audit readiness
- Present at customer events and roundtables on regulatory change (e-invoicing, indirect tax reform, global minimum tax)
- Design solutions covering ERP and systems integration, workflow modernization, compliance automation and AI-enabled processes, and position them against competitors
- Turn regulatory and technical requirements into proposals, and deliver demos, proofs of concept and technical workshops
- Lead solution responses in RFPs and RFIs, and tell a clear value story
- Work with sales to progress opportunities, build pipeline, support renewals and retention, and maintain opportunity data in Salesforce
- Share customer feedback and market insight with product, marketing, implementation and sales teams
Required profile
- 5 to 7 years of experience in solution consulting, pre-sales or tax technology consulting, ideally in tax, e-invoicing or finance transformation
- Consultative selling and stakeholder management across Tax, Finance, IT and procurement teams
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills
- Experience with e-invoicing and regulatory reporting across Asia (e.g. Singapore InvoiceNow, Malaysia MyInvois)
- Understanding of finance, tax and accounting workflows, and of AI and digital transformation use cases
- Commercial mindset, comfortable owning the technical win and contributing to deal strategy
Required skills
- Enterprise SaaS experience, including cloud implementation, integration and solution scoping
- Working knowledge of ERP ecosystems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and how tax engines and e-invoicing platforms integrate with them
- Preferred: experience with multinational enterprises, enterprise software and SaaS sales support, complex procurement and RFP/RFI environments, and indirect tax, VAT/GST or Pillar Two exposure
What we offer
- Flexible hybrid work (2-3 days a week in the office depending on the role)
- Flex My Way policies, including work from anywhere for up to 8 weeks per year
- Career development through Grow My Way programming
- Benefits including flexible vacation, two company-wide Mental Health Days, Headspace access, retirement savings, tuition reimbursement and incentive programs
- Inclusive culture and two paid volunteer days off annually
