S&OP Planner – Sales & Operations Planning

About the role

As an S&OP Planner you will own the Sales & Operations Planning process for your assigned perimeter, working closely with plants, sourcing teams and local markets. Reporting to the S&OP Head in our regional Operations hub, you will ensure product availability while maintaining healthy stock levels across the end‑to‑end supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the S&OP process to balance demand with industrial capacity and optimise service levels.
• Analyse and consolidate demand and stock data from subsidiaries, ensuring consistency and historical accuracy.
• Define production priorities with factories, validate plans against demand, and recommend adjustments when inconsistencies arise.
• Confirm availability plans, monitor end‑to‑end stock parameters and support projects to reduce excess & obsolete inventory.
• Communicate supply‑chain stock updates and service policies to subsidiaries, and arbitrate allocation decisions during shortages.
• Challenge factory capacity constraints and lead long‑term capacity investment studies.
• Plan and validate new product launches, align with marketing, and manage launch master data.
• Maintain the product catalogue, contribute to its rationalisation and track performance indicators.

Required profile

• Consumer‑oriented mindset with a focus on demand‑driven supply chain service.
• Proven experience orchestrating multi‑market supply plans and modelling capacity scenarios.
• Hands‑on experience coordinating new product introductions while controlling inventory risk.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain flows across sourcing, manufacturing and distribution.

Required skills

• High proficiency with enterprise planning systems such as SAP APO.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and modelling.
• Experience using Power BI for reporting and visualisation.
