Staff Engineer – NVM Quality Reliability Assurance

About the role

Micron Technology is seeking a Staff Engineer (or Engineer) to join its Global Quality team as an NVM Quality Reliability Assurance (QRA) specialist. The role focuses on electrical failure analysis and data analysis of 3D NAND memory devices to sustain and improve product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage NAND qualification plans.
• Execute qualification tests, analyze results, and perform risk assessments throughout the qualification cycle.
• Conduct failure analysis on rejected devices to identify failure modes and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
• Collaborate with R&D and Product Engineering to address new reliability issues and assess customer impact.
• Leverage AI tools to automate reporting, defect classification, and root‑cause analysis.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize, multitask, and coordinate across multiple issues.
• Experience working in cross‑functional teams and handling pressure situations professionally.
