Structural Associate

About the role

The Structural Associate will work within an international consultancy, delivering engineering solutions for complex civil and structural projects. You will collaborate closely with other engineering divisions, external partners, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain good client relations and act as a primary point of contact.
• Collaborate with other engineering divisions and external parties.
• Participate in tendering processes for new projects.
• Lead the development of engineering solutions and strategies for complex problems.
• Provide technical leadership and conduct engineering design reviews.
• Train and mentor junior engineers.
• Manage design coordination and project control on major projects.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university.
• Eligibility for registration with the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in engineering design consulting.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and good knowledge of design software.
• Proven supervision and project management capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure with effective planning and time‑management.
• Professional Engineer registration is an advantage.
• Experience in design and design management of major geotechnical, building or infrastructure works is a plus.
