Structure Engineer – Façade Design (Junior)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Structure Engineer to join our construction team in Singapore. The role focuses on the design and analysis of building façades, ensuring structural integrity while meeting architectural intent.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare design calculations for building façades using appropriate design software.
• Perform structural calculations and simulations to verify compliance with building codes and specifications.
• Collaborate with design teams and quantity surveyors to resolve structural issues related to façade works.
• Review architectural drawings and develop practical, buildable façade solutions.
• Work with consultants, the Professional Engineer (PE) and the Accredited Checker (AC) to align shop drawings for submission.
• Prepare and manage BCA submissions for approval.
• Maintain records in accordance with ISO/OHSAS procedures.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and architectural plans.
