Supply Chain Manager

About the role

Lumilens is building the photonic infrastructure that powers next‑generation AI supercomputing. We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to own the sourcing strategy and end‑to‑end supply chain for optical and photonic components such as lasers, PICs, photodetectors and fiber array units.

Key responsibilities

• Translate forecasts into supplier capacity requirements and allocation requests.
• Monitor lead times, allocation cycles and delivery commitments, flagging gaps early.
• Coordinate with planning and production teams to align capacity with prototype, pilot and production schedules.
• Develop and manage supply plans, balancing demand, inventory targets and manufacturing capabilities across global partners.
• Lead supplier qualification activities with engineering and quality teams, including technical audits and sample evaluation.
• Assess supplier financial health, capacity and technology roadmap alignment.
• Negotiate pricing, capacity commitments and supply agreements with optics/photonics suppliers.
• Implement continuous‑improvement initiatives to increase supply‑chain agility and efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply‑chain management or procurement for high‑tech hardware.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate demand forecasts into actionable supplier plans.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Technical understanding of optics and photonics to evaluate supplier capabilities.
