Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive individual to manage supply planning, maintain optimal inventory levels, and coordinate closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders. The role supports seamless operations and aligns with overall business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute supply chain planning strategies, generate demand and material forecasts, and support SIOP processes.
• Manage inventory to ensure optimal stock, minimize excess/obsolete items, and prevent stockouts while maintaining high service levels.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Quality, Commercial, Warehouses and other teams to align supply plans and resolve order discrepancies.
• Coordinate procurement, replenishment and logistics activities, ensuring efficient material flow and on‑time delivery.
• Identify process inefficiencies, propose improvements, and enhance planning tools, data visualization and system capabilities.
• Track KPIs such as forecast accuracy and inventory turnover, generate reports and provide data‑driven insights for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management or procurement; trading environment experience preferred.
• Experience in the chemical industry is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or JDE.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerBI.
• Strong analytical capability to interpret data and support decision‑making.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
