Supply Officer – Aircraft Spare Parts

About the role
The role is based in Satair Singapore, an Airbus Services Company. The Supply Officer will procure and ensure the availability of aircraft spare parts and services to meet internal and external customer demands, taking full responsibility for order fulfillment on cost, timeliness and quality.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure timely purchase order creation according to demand.
- Follow up with suppliers on confirmation dates, shipment dates and track goods in transit.
- Maintain accurate purchase order data, including price, quantity and certificates.
- Create a daily order‑book overview to provide transparency of order status.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, participating in business reviews when relevant.
- Launch corrective actions on the order level when issues arise.
- Keep stakeholders informed on progress and changes (CRS, planning, suppliers).
- Maintain all relevant information in SAP and other appropriate tools.
- Manage return shipments to vendors.
- Resolve supplier discrepancies and quality issues by collaborating with internal and external parties.
- Support the accounting team in solving the root cause of blocked invoices.
Required profile
- Diploma with at least 2 years of supply‑chain experience, preferably in aerospace (candidates without prior experience are welcome).
- Excellent working knowledge of SAP; experience with G Suite/Google Workspace is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in supply management or purchasing operations.
- Proficiency with basic IT tools, especially Google tools.
- Knowledge of aircraft component manufacturing, maintenance organisations or spare‑parts distribution.
- Team player in a cross‑functional environment.
- Methodical, detail‑oriented, proactive and flexible.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks and handle conflict situations.
- Service‑oriented, able to work independently and in an international context.
- Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity.
