Logistics Improvement Manager

About the role

The Logistics Improvement Manager will drive operational efficiency across Satair’s regional logistics footprint. Based in Singapore, you will act as a bridge between global strategy and regional execution, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost‑effective warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regional continuous‑improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile methodologies.
• Analyze material flow and layout to identify bottlenecks and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Develop and govern standardized logistics processes across regional hubs.
• Coach local teams on CI tools such as Freshdesk, Transport Management System, and Extended Warehouse Management.
• Design sustainable packaging programs to reduce waste and shipping weight.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and conduct Value Stream Mapping exercises.
• Serve as Airbus Operating System focal point for Singapore, Dubai, and China.
• Lead WMS feature rollouts and integration of automation technologies (RFID, advanced barcode scanning, automated material handling).
• Create visual management boards and digital dashboards for real‑time performance monitoring.
• Support 6S workplace organization to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics or warehouse operations improvement.
• Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Hands‑on experience with WMS, TMS, RFID tracking, and barcode scanning systems.
• Ability to train and change‑manage operational teams.
• Familiarity with 6S (Safety, Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) methodology.
