System Analyst (Presales)

About the role

SATO Asia Pacific is looking for an experienced, customer‑focused System Analyst to join its presales team. The role blends business analysis, solution consulting and technical presales to support enterprise software sales for manufacturing, warehouse and industrial automation customers.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to qualify opportunities and drive deal closure.
• Conduct discovery sessions, workshops and stakeholder interviews to capture business requirements and project objectives.
• Deliver product presentations, technical demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (POCs) and pilot projects tailored to customer environments.
• Document functional, non‑functional, integration, performance, security and compliance requirements.
• Produce Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flow diagrams and solution architecture documents.
• Design high‑level solution architectures and integration approaches, ensuring scalability, security and maintainability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in presales, solution consulting or systems analysis within enterprise software projects.
• Strong ability to work with customers, sales teams and internal stakeholders to translate business challenges into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with manufacturing, production, warehouse or industrial automation environments.
