TAR & Project Engineer – 1 Year Contract (Jurong Island)

About the role

The TAR & Project Engineer will lead turnaround planning and execution for a gas plant on Jurong Island. This 1‑year contract role involves close collaboration with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering teams to ensure safe, on‑schedule plant turnarounds.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain turnaround worklists, scope packages and integrated schedules.
• Coordinate engineering reviews, ensure availability of drawings, permits and technical documents.
• Lead daily turnaround execution, monitor contractor productivity and resolve site technical issues.
• Support procurement of long‑lead items, specialist services and rental equipment.
• Manage minor CAPEX, reliability improvement and plant modification projects, including design reviews and commissioning.
• Track contractor progress, manpower utilisation and expenditure against approved budgets.
• Participate in post‑turnaround reviews and continuous improvement activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in turnaround engineering and project execution within the process or gas industry.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams (Mechanical, E&I, Civil, Inspection, Operations).
• Strong organisational skills to manage schedules, procurement and cost control.
