Technical Director / Associate, Structures

About the role

Aurecon is seeking a Technical Director / Associate in Structures to join its Buildings business. You will work with a team of highly skilled specialists to deliver complex building projects worldwide, driving innovation and technical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client plans, nurture relationships, and achieve revenue and utilisation targets.
• Lead bid preparation, including planning, costing, technical input, and proposal sign‑off.
• Oversee project delivery, managing contracts, timelines, quality, risk, financial performance, communication and scope.
• Ensure effective project close‑out and conduct debriefs with clients and internal teams.
• Manage project profitability and financial contribution in line with budgets.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and competency development for the team.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration with the relevant board.
• Strong passion for re‑imagining engineering and commitment to continuous learning.
