Technical Executive – Building Project Development

About the role

The Technical Executive (Building) – Project Development will support the architectural technical aspects of HDB projects. You will review building plans and BIM models, ensure compliance with regulatory and HDB standards, and contribute to the continuous improvement of design and construction processes.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess architectural submissions, BIM models, and building plans for safety, durability, cost, accessibility and constructability.
• Update and manage the HDB Architectural Guide Drawings and related standards.
• Assist in material listing and quality improvement for HDB projects.
• Support Project Directors in managing construction sites, including on‑site quality, safety and housekeeping checks.
• Collaborate with architectural, structural and M&E teams and receive training on construction best practices.

Required profile

• Educational background in Architecture or Building.
• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Experience or familiarity with BIM modelling is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, independent work ethic and good communication skills.
• Prior site experience is an advantage.
