Technical Manager – Construction & Design

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Manager to lead our technical team in supporting construction projects across Singapore. The role involves overseeing design processes, ensuring compliance, and coordinating with consultants and BIM teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Shadow Senior Technical Manager/Technical Director as required.
• Lead the technical team in supporting construction with design matters, including shop drawing review and production.
• Review all technical documentation and drawings for project works.
• Collaborate with appointed consultants and construction teams to enhance site efficiency and constructability.
• Manage design approvals from authorities such as URA, BCA, LTA, PUB and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
• Distribute approved and latest drawings to relevant parties.
• Coordinate closely with the in‑house BIM team to resolve technical clarifications.
• Identify potential risks and present design progress to management and clients.
• Support tender preparation and produce technical tender documents for civil and structural projects.
• Participate in progress, technical, coordination, and site meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineering Board.
• Minimum 12 years of design experience, or 7 years of design management experience with at least 5 years of design experience.
