Technical Team Leader

About the role

The Technical Team Leader will head a team of 8‑12 engineers responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of security systems—including CCTV, access control and intrusion detection—across client sites. This role combines hands‑on technical work with client‑facing service management to ensure reliable security operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the end‑to‑end service and maintenance workflow for security installations.
• Act as the primary contact for client representatives on all service‑related matters.
• Lead, coach and allocate tasks to technical team members, ensuring skill‑appropriate assignments.
• Develop service scopes, plans, resource loading and milestone tracking.
• Innovate delivery methods and distribute responsibilities to maximise efficiency.
• Manage day‑to‑day client expectations and drive continuous improvement in satisfaction.
• Maintain a deep understanding of each client’s business objectives.
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance commitments and handle a variety of technical and non‑technical tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum Nitec diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Team‑player attitude with a customer‑service mindset.
• Adaptable, initiative‑driven and able to work with diverse client organisations.
• Eligibility to work in Singapore (Singaporean citizenship required).
