Technologist – PEE Fab Support (Entry Level)

About the role

Join Micron's semiconductor fab as a Technologist supporting Pump, Chiller and Abatement (PEE) systems. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in equipment maintenance, safety leadership and AI‑enabled process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and monitor safety priorities on the shop floor.
• Supervise shift equipment team, ensuring timely preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain and troubleshoot pumps, chillers, vacuum and abatement systems.
• Coordinate shift coverage, TPM activities and equipment installations.
• Act as the primary liaison between fab personnel and the Fab Support group for production issues.
• Integrate AI‑assisted tools to enhance efficiency and quality.

Required profile

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong mechanical competence with the ability to understand and repair mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of vacuum systems and ability to troubleshoot them.
• Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams to component level.
• Good time‑management, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour shifts with minimal supervision.
