WSHO & Fire Safety Manager

About the role

We are looking for a qualified WSH Officer cum Fire Safety Manager to lead fire safety and workplace health initiatives across our island‑wide facilities in Singapore. The role combines operational fire safety management with compliance to Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine safe‑work inspections and ensure compliance with fire safety and WSH legislation.
• Lead the Fire Safety Team to enforce the Emergency Response Plan and eliminate fire hazards.
• Manage contracts for fire‑safety systems, coordinating with SCDF and other authorities.
• Plan, organise and supervise fire drills and train occupants on escape routes.
• Provide first‑aid, fire‑fighting and evacuation training for the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT).
• Oversee fire‑safety, emergency response, first‑aid and business continuity activities.
• Investigate incidents, analyse causes and recommend preventive measures.
• Develop and implement WSH/EHS risk assessments, safe‑work procedures and ensure they are briefed to staff.
• Collaborate with the HQ Safety Department and liaise with MOM on site WSH matters.

Required profile

• Fire Safety Manager Certificate and registration with SCDF.
• Minimum three years experience as a Fire Safety Manager in Singapore.
• MOM‑registered WSH Officer.
• Higher Nitec/Diploma or higher in WSH, Engineering, Building, Safety & Health or related field.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, fire‑safety systems, WSH standards and emergency preparedness.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
