Youth Development Basketball Coach

About the role

The Youth Development Basketball Coach will lead starter and development programmes across Jumpshot Arena’s satellite locations in Singapore. You will teach fundamental basketball skills, build confidence in young athletes, and keep sessions energetic and engaging.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑energy, structured basketball training sessions that develop physical literacy, motor coordination, and core skills.
• Communicate player progress and milestone updates to parents as the primary on‑ground contact.
• Set up courts, manage equipment, and coordinate assistants and interns during busy periods.
• Identify talented players for advanced trials and work with the Technical Lead to support their pathway.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience coaching youth basketball in schools, clubs, or community clinics.
• Background as a collegiate, varsity, or competitive club basketball player.
• Level 1 coaching certification or a relevant sports coaching/kinesiology diploma.
• Valid First Aid and CPR/AED certifications.
• Enthusiastic, patient, and able to manage a classroom‑like environment for young athletes.
