Account Analyst

About the role

The Account Analyst will join Island Finance's collections team to manage delinquent accounts through proactive phone outreach. Using predictive dialing technology, the analyst will negotiate payment solutions that satisfy both the client and the company while adhering to internal policies and applicable regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal collection calls to customers with overdue accounts using predictive dialing.
• Identify and propose repayment options that align with company guidelines and legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and outcomes in the company's automated systems.
• Achieve daily and weekly collection targets while delivering high‑quality customer service.

Required profile

• Minimum of two years of post‑secondary education, preferably in Business Administration.
• At least three years of experience in collections, telemarketing, or phone‑based customer service.
• Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and meet performance goals.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and customer‑service orientation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
