Account Analyst

About the role

The Account Analyst will join Island Finance's collections team, handling inbound and outbound calls to customers with delinquent accounts. Using a predictive dialer, the analyst will propose repayment solutions that satisfy both the client and the company while adhering to internal policies and applicable regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal collection calls to delinquent customers via predictive dialing.
• Identify and present viable repayment options that align with company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and outcomes in the company’s automated systems.
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
• Achieve daily and weekly collection targets set by management.

Required profile

• Minimum of two years of post‑secondary education, preferably in Business Administration.
• At least three years of experience in collections, telemarketing, or phone‑based customer service.
• Demonstrated dynamism, ability to work under pressure, and multitasking skills.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and negotiation abilities.
• Goal‑driven mindset with comfort using automated systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience operating a predictive dialing system.
