About the role

Idera is looking for an enthusiastic Account Executive to join its Inside Sales team. You will help customers overcome challenges in building high‑availability, high‑performance database applications while driving revenue growth for our software solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Sell database business solutions to companies within an assigned territory.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers to understand business needs.
  • Identify new accounts and grow existing ones through strategic account plans.
  • Collaborate with pre‑sales technical resources to tailor solutions to customer requirements.
  • Create business proposals that address identified problems and drive resource allocation.
  • Deliver personalized customer service to ensure high satisfaction.

Required profile

  • 1‑3 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in software sales.
  • Consistent record of meeting or exceeding quota targets.
  • Strong telemarketing and cold‑calling abilities.
  • Experience developing and executing sales strategies.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, including proposal preparation.
  • Goal‑oriented team player with the ability to multitask.
