Accountant Corporate Accounts & Projects (Kris+) - Contract

About the role

Singapore Airlines is hiring an Accountant for its Kris+ Pte. Ltd. unit on a contract basis, covering end-to-end accounting and financial reporting. The role includes timely month-end, quarter-end and year-end close, reporting to SIA and regulatory bodies such as MAS, audit coordination, and supporting business initiatives related to the payment programme, including process improvement and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end close and maintain a full set of accounts with complete, accurate records and supporting documentation.
• Review daily payment runs and invoices, and prepare monthly flash and actual results for SIA.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cost monitoring, and prepare quarterly Board papers.
• Prepare quarterly and annual MAS reports and surveys, and work with the Tax department on GST and corporate tax filings.
• Liaise with external auditors for the annual statutory audit and respond to internal audit queries.
• Support the loyalty programme business unit on new payment programme initiatives, and contribute to automation, standardisation and control improvements.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial reporting and/or full set of accounts.
• Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and effective communication with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage timelines and handle multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
• Exposure to regulatory reporting (e.g. MAS) and audit coordination is an advantage.
